East Petersburg 5K
As part of the East Petersburg Day events on Saturday, September 23, East Petersburg Day 5K and Kids Fun Run will start the festivities and celebration of our community. This year is a back to the 80’s themed run that participants are encouraged to dress up, so break out the neon, big hair, parachute pants and leg warmers!
The annual East Petersburg Day Parade will follow the 5K at 10 am and lead families, friends and neighbors to East Petersburg Community Park for an amazing day filled with live music, jugglers, rides, games, food and FIREWORKS!
About the Course
Fast, level 5K run & walk course, through residential East Petersburg. Begins and ends at East Petersburg Fire Hall located on Pine Street, one block east of Manheim Pike (Main St. Rt 72) and one block north of State Street (Rt 722).
Medals & Prizes
5K Run medals to top three in each gender age group. Prize money for top three overall winners in male/female groups is $200/100/50. Plus, there’s a special prize to the best-dressed runner!
Start Times and Entrance Fees
8:30 am KIDS FUN RUN – $10 fee for t-shirt if registered by midnight 9/10/23.
9:00 am ADULT 5K RUN/WALK – $25/runner, $15/runner in groups of five or more, includes t-shirt if registered by midnight 9/10/23.
