About This Race
5K and 1- mile fun run on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 9am at Elizabethtown Area High School (Parking available in lot next the football stadium and tennis courts)! Race to benefit Overcoming Obstacles, INC., a local non-profit that strives to improve the overall health and well being of our special needs community by providing individual grants for personal fitness activities. Both courses are a mix of pavement, grass, and compacted dirt/gravel paths. Race organized by Elizabethtown Area High School Mind and Body classes. Race perks include:
T-shirt and gift for 5k (guaranteed if registered before April 15th)
T-shirt for Fun Run participants (guaranteed if registered before April 15th)
Post-race fruit and refreshments
Entertainment and TONS of fun
Custom Awards: Top 3 females & 3 males in the following age divisions:
Base of the Hill Division: 18 years of age and under
Climbing the Hill Division: 19-49 years of age
Over the Hill Division: 50 years and over
Other Awards: Spirit Award, Oldest and Youngest 5K participant
Entry into 5K: $20.00
Entry into 1-mile fun run: $10.00
